Worker Information

We represent and connect motivated organizers with campaigns working to spread the progressive political revolution. All jobs pay at least $15/hr and many offer paid sick time, travel compensation, and other benefits. In addition to fair pay, we strive to secure a workplace free of discrimination and harassment of all kinds.

The Strength of a Union

The United Professional Organizers began with a labor dispute in the summer of 2017. Through collective action, the campaign workers won their due compensation. Now, we we work to better the conditions of campaign workers everywhere, and fuel progressive causes.

The United Professional Organizers is run democratically, every member has an equal vote. We choose the campaigns we work on, the standards we work for, and lift up each other to achieve excellence in grassroots organizing.

Opportunity and Excellence

We reject campaign models driven by profit and nepotism. Grassroots organizing helps great causes flourish, and gives opportunity to motivated organizers.

  • Discrimination
  • Poor pay, wage theft, or not being paid on time
  • Sexual harassment
  • Unfair scheduling
  • ‘Playing favorites’
  • Misclassification as an independent contractor
